About the Viti-Up Study
The Viti-Up Study is a clinical research study designed to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of an investigational drug for adults and adolescents with non-segmental vitiligo. Participants receive either the investigational drug or a placebo (something that looks like the investigational drug but has no effect on the body), both taken orally (by mouth) once daily.
This research study will last up to 160 weeks (about 3 years), including approximately 21 visits to the study clinic. Participants will be assigned randomly to have a 2-out-of-3 chance to receive the investigational drug and a 1-out-of-3 chance to receive the placebo for the first 48 weeks (about 11 months). After 48 weeks of study treatment, all participants will be assigned to receive the investigational drug.
